On Monday we took Nolan to his followup neurosurgeon appointment. The doctor told us that his head still grew and crossed a few more percentile lines. He still wasn't concerned and didn't want to rescan Nolan's head at this time. The doctor did say that he was uncomfortable sending us home without coming back for a followup since Nolan's head growth didn't slow down. So we will be heading back to OHSU in 3 months for another followup appointment.
On Tuesday we took Kaden for his helmet appointment with the hopes that it may be our last appointment. The orthotist that we have been working with was thrilled with Kaden's progress and said this would be a good time to stop the helmet. So now we are able to kiss Kaden's head again without a helmet and also not get hit with the hard plastic of the helmet.
