What I've learned after almost 4 months with the twins.

So it's almost been 4 months since Kaden and Nolan were born. There are a few things that are definitely different with the twins than with Evan. We definitely go through ALOT more diapers and wipes than we did with Evan. On average we figure to go through about 115 diapers a week...that's approx 16 diapers a day....That's a lot of diaper changes! When one baby is crying that can be loud, but two babies crying at the same time it's REALLY loud, and if you add in Evan, better get the earplugs! I've also noticed that we have to do more laundry and run the dishwasher more often, pretty much a load of each is done everyday in order to keep up!

A few must haves around here are two boppies (they work good for feeding two babies at the same time), baby swings (we have one, but are in the process of getting a second one.) The boys love sitting in the swing and take really good naps in it. Right now we only have one swing and they have to take turns, so usually one baby takes a better nap than the other. We also have two play mats, which is good because the boys are starting to play more and they are getting bigger so they don't fit together under one anymore. Since the boys never took to nursing we feed them bottles, we bought a bottle warmer, which has been very helpful! We warm some water up in the microwave to get one bottle warm and then use the warmer for the other bottle at the same time. We also love our double snap and go stroller, it's a great help when we go to the store. Lastly a definite must have around here is help from our family, it definitely helps us out.

Although it is a little more challenging with twins, we've gotten good at tending to two babies and Evan, because you do what you gotta do. Having two babies and Evan is definitely a blessing to us.
