We had our 35 week appointment and everything is going well. We actually had an ultrasound too because our last appointment was with a different doctor and he thought Melinda and/or Evan was a bit smaller than what he would have liked to see. ...So he ordered up an ultrasound to make sure Evan was developing normally, that there was plenty of amniotic fluid,etc... The ultrasound this week confirmed that everything is OK but that Evan is a bit small; he measures about a week smaller than what he should be. This week's appointment was with our doctor again and she wasn't concerned about Evan's size. From her (the doctor's) perspective, it basically boils down to that sometimes small moms have smaller babies. Evan may in fact pack on the weight over the next 5 weeks but even if he continues growing at his current rate, he'll still be fine. Oh, we don't have any pictures from the ultrasound. The tech tried to get a good profile which I'm sure she would have printed up but Evan's hands were blocking the view... almost as if saying "no, you can't see me yet... You have to wait!" :)
In other news, I guess our cat snores. Yep, snores. I didn't hear Mitchell in action but Mel asked me if I heard him this morning.
Good job, Evan. Way to hide out from your mommy and daddy. But grandma would have liked to have seen your picture too.
